SOS Schools: Bukavu Primary School

The SOS Primary School opened in 1989. There are nearly 400 pupils in six classes. In 2004, the school introduced the teaching of English.

There is also an SOS Nursery School for 125 children in five classes. Teachers in the nursery school also train teachers in local schools.
