SOS Schools: Bahir Dar Primary and Secondary School

The combined SOS Primary and Secondary School opened in 2003 and has the capacity for 420 pupils in 12 classes. There are currently (2005) 270. There is also an SOS Nursery School for over 100 children.

The school has capacity for 420 students in 12 classrooms. There is also a workshop, sportsfield and library. The town of Bahir Dar, one of Ethiopia's fastest growing, lies about 565km from the capital Addis Ababa.
